Tokyo - Honda brought some designs to be exhibited at the Tokyo Motor Show 2011. In addition to the concept car and CR-V 2012, Honda offers a new diesel engine for the world automotive market.
It shows a Japanese manufacturer of diesel engines is slim but has a capacity of 1.6 liters. Capacity that provides power output of 120 horsepower at 4,000 rpm with peak torque of 300 Nm (221 lb-ft) at 2,000 rpm.
Honda claims this engine is the lightest unit in its class. Honda adds these machines emit only low levels of 100 grams of CO2 per km. Only, not yet known what level of fuel efficiency of Honda engines this Thursday.
Diesel engine units will be scattered in various automotive market in the next year. His debut is scheduled to be combined with the New Civic 2012.
