Detroit - Ford Focus and Volkswagen Passat had to hand the Hyundai Elantra and the Range Rover as the best SUV in North America 2012. The award was held on the opening day of the Detroit Motor Show held in Detroit, North America, Monday (01/09/2012).
Earlier last year, this award is given to the Genesis in 2009 before the end of this year Hyundai grabbed a second time. Additionally Evoque succeeded in becoming the best trucks in North America after getting rid of the BMW X3 and Honda CR-V. And that became the best cars at the Detroit Motor Show this year achieved by the Chevrolet Volt.
