Sydney - Mini has prepared the latest variant of the Cooper that will be marketed in Australia 2012. The latest variant, the 2012 Cooper S Coupe is scheduled to begin paving in Australia in February 2012.
As reported by Caradvice, Saturday (12/03/2011) latest generation of the Mini Cooper S Coupe will be priced USD42.990 or equivalent Rp387 million. Prices are claimed Mini is much cheaper than the Mini which previously marketed in Australia.
Meanwhile, the CEO of Mini Australia, Lucy McLellan said the Mini Cooper S Coupe is expected to attract consumers and increase sales of the Mini in Australia in 2012.
"In my opinion, the latest generation Mini has many advantages from both the exterior and interior design. This mini is perfect for dikendarain in Australia, then I expect the consumer can receive well the latest generation Mini will be launched in February 2012, "said McLellan, in the quotation in Caradvice.
Further, the engine is not much different from the other generation Mini, but the Mini Coupe which will come equipped with a 1.6-liter engine that can propel the car from 0 to 100 km / h (62 mph) in just 6.4 seconds and has a top speed of 240 km / h (149 mph).
